Pizza pot pies are a delightful twist on traditional pizza, encased in a golden, flaky crust that melts in your mouth.   • 1 pre-made pie crust (store-bought)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage (crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease four ramekins with cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté bell peppers and mushrooms until tender. Add cooked sausage and pepperoni; heat through.
  3. Pour in tomato sauce and stir in Italian seasoning until bubbling.
  4. Roll out pie crust and cut circles to fit ramekins. Place one circle in each dish and fill generously with the mixture.
  5. Cover with another pie crust circle, seal edges by pressing down, and cut slits for steam release. Brush with egg wash if desired.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
