  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup whole milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 4-inch squares.
  2. In a bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Brush each pastry square with melted butter and sprinkle half with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. Fold each square diagonally and twist slightly before placing in muffin cups.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Brush with more melted butter and roll in additional cinnamon sugar while warm.
